What we collect
When you book a cruise we collect the name, email address and phone number of everyone in your party, because the captain needs a manifest and everyone aboard signs a waiver. We also keep what you told us about the trip and what you paid.
Card details go straight to Stripe and never touch our servers. We keep a token that lets us place the refundable damage hold before your cruise and release it afterwards.
Text messages
Marissa Cruises sends text messages only about a cruise you have booked. When you book, you may opt in with a checkbox that is not pre-selected and reads: "I agree to receive text messages from Marissa Cruises about my booking: booking confirmations, schedule or weather changes, and check-in details for your cruise. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for help or email info@marissacruises.com. Consent is not a condition of purchase." We do not send marketing texts, and we do not sell, rent or share mobile numbers or SMS consent with third parties for their own marketing. You can stop the messages at any time by replying STOP.
Who we share it with
Only the services that make the booking work: Stripe for payment, Resend for email, Twilio for text messages, and our hosting and database providers. We do not sell your information and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.
Getting it removed
Email info@marissacruises.com and we’ll delete what we’re not required to keep for tax or liability reasons.
